A friend needed to take a side dish to a Super Bowl Party. I offered up my famous taco dip recipe. I have no idea where I learned this from, so I can’t take credit for creating it. It’s so simple and I always end up with an empty dish after I serve it. My suggestion sounded so good, I thought I would make it to take over to our friend’s house tomorrow! 3 key ingredients: 8 oz sour cream, 8 oz cream cheese, 1 package taco seasoning.
If you let the cream cheese soften, mixing in the bowl is much easier. Before…
Spread the mix in any glass dish. I prefer a round with 12″ diameter.
You can top with whatever you want. I always use 1/2 yellow pepper, 1/2 green pepper, and 2 chopped roma tomatoes.
Toss some shredded cheese on top and you are done.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips. I like the Scoops. Get’s all the goodness in 1 bite! Very colorful, very delicious, and very little clean up too. All you use is 1 bowl, 1 fork, 1 knife and a cutting board.
