The Vin's hosted this month's game night. After some good munchies, we induldged the boys by playing Star Wars Trivial Pursuit. Since we ladies were not very knowledgeable in this genre, we played Girls vs CS vs MV. And we girls made up a bunch of rules. We were only playing for 15 minutes. Girls could steal in the middle of the boys turns if we knew the answer. Girls get a pie piece for correct answers regardless if they are the on the pie-piece space. We got 1 pie piece before time expired and CS kicked our butts. On to Cranium!
This was the first time I got to play Cranium with the play-doh! Usually it's not stored properly and dries out. I can't remember how many clues got to use it, but 2 of them definitely stick out. Using the exact same technique, one team got the clue "Prison" and the other got "Picket fence" based on the play-doh-er just rolling strips. I attribute the wins to yelling random words, not so much on the play-doh-er skills. On to the drawing. I like to think I'm great at drawing with my eyes closed. You can be the judge:

This one took a few attempts...

2nd try...

3rd try finally got it!

K had some great interesting interpretions of one of her words...

2nd try... I'm still not sure why they have surfboards.

I learned that when the drawer puts 2 hard lines on the paper, that means 2 word answer. I had moose, but was way off on the definition of "mousse" that she was looking for.

Definitely a game to pick up if you don't have it. Or at least get a supply of play-doh if you do.
