In honor of the USA, (not really) my girlfriend (not really) and I headed over to hear The Script play on September 11th (really).
We didn't know the opening band, so we decided to show up around 8:30 figuring that would give us enough time to mingle and get to our balcony seats. Turns out, it wasn't enough time so while we were mingling, the stage ignited and we ran in to grab some empty seats in the back.
After the first song, Danny started in on "We Cry" and decides to walk up the aisle and get some crowd interaction. I looked at K and said "I'm going down to get pictures." So as he's walking up the aisle, I'm fumbling with my camera trying to turn it on. The next time I look up, Danny is standing in front of me with the mic pointed at me. Ummm... "We cryyyyyyyyyyy" I yelled sang into the mic! I was stunned. After that brief encounter, I realize I never got a picture of him, so I snapped one of the back of head!
I ran back to K astonished at what just happened and said, "I need a drink." As we exit to the lobby, JG finds us and says he sang in the mic right after I did?! Freakin awesome! We jokingly said our concert experience was done so we could leave. After we caught our breaths, K and I headed to our real seats in the balcony. These offered a fabulous view of the stage. These guys have certainly upgraded for last year in the Egyptian room.
Its kinda sad they didn't sell out the show, so after a few songs we decided to head back to the floor seats for a closer look.

We headed home, but JG and his date hung out for a bit and ended up running into Danny at the tour bus. Guess they shot the sheet for a minute or two, got a hug and kiss, and tried to get pictures but the phone camera wasn't working. Likely story...
