Everyone's schedule gets busy now and then, or always for some of us. In an attempt to still keep in touch with my girlfriends, I introduce GNO... Girls Night Out. For our first event, I chose Tony Sacco's.
This choice seemed to baffle a few girls since I don't eat pizza and they only serve beer and wine. They had fancy pizzas that sound great and they were reasonably priced. Events like this can be hard because you never know taste preferences and price points. I think I have about 14 girls on the mailing list, and luckily 8 of us were able to make the date and time work!
The pizza was great and everyone got a chance to talk and meet each other. Some of us had not met before, so that made it even more fun to meet new girls. Afterward 5 of us went to see Bridesmaids. I've heard it described as the female version of the Hangover. My opinion, it was funny. Really funny. But it's not the female version of the hangover. It had girl drama. Nothing I've seen yet compares to the Hangover... except maybe Hangover II, which I will see next week. Here's the Bridesmaids trailer if you've been under a rock.... Go see it!
