Madagascar Live!

Been a fan of Penguins of Madagascar for a few years now.  When I saw they were coming to a local stage near me, I called in my partner in crime to see the show!

The ushers were giving all the kids lemur eyes to wear during the show.  K went to get us some and the lady says "They are just for the kids."

K...  "Well, we don't have kids with us.  We are the kids."

Lady... "I'll get in serious trouble if I give them to you."

Whatever.  We borrowed some from the family behind us for a photo op!

Then a guy sits down next to us with his single kid but has 2 pairs.  I inquire and he says he tricked them and hid his son's pair.  I explained what we tried and he says "Yea, so how did you 2 end up here, think it was a different show?"  Had to fess up and say no, we like Penguins.  A kid to our right kept yelling "HI PENGUINS" for the first 10 times they came on stage.  Cracked me up.  I didn't get a good picture of little guys, but a few shots from the show.

It wasn't the most technical and precisely executed show but it was entertaining.  Julian's and Private's voices were spot on.  At the end, the actors got all the kids up dancing to "I Like to Move It".  Great entertainment for cheap ticket.
